Every successful brand has a story, but not every story is told well.
Even the most exceptional businesses can struggle to connect deeply with their audience, leaving potential loyal customers out of reach. It’s not just about a one-time sale—it’s about creating a brand that people believe in and return to time and again.
Perhaps your sports club isn’t seeing the membership growth you envisioned, or your hotel guests aren’t returning as often as they should. Maybe your online store isn’t attracting the traffic it deserves. These aren’t just missed sales; they’re missed opportunities to build a lasting brand.
Your business has everything it needs to succeed; it just needs the right voice. With expert copywriting uniquely tailored to your brand, we help you craft a message that resonates, turning potential customers into devoted brand ambassadors.

“Ben produced a set of several eye-catching, clear posters to promote a careers event to Psychology students. We were worried about numbers but in the end got more students attending that we had hoped!”
“Recently, Ben has supported my business’s blog page, by providing several articles relating to mental health and well being. Working with Ben has been a privilege and enjoyable experience; he’s driven, passionate and a talented writer. I recommend him to anyone wanting written content, as he’s fantastic at communication and ensures both his client and himself are on the same page with what content is to be delivered.”

FAQs

So here is the most basic answer: 'Copy' refers to words or text. A copywriter is the person who writes those words.
However, the better answer goes more like this. Every business in the world uses copy in someway, shape, or form. It's how you market your business, how your internal documents get sent around, your Q4 reports, things like that. It's all copy.
Businesses hire copywriters like myself, because we know how to turn this copy into meaningful, effective writing that accomplishes your goals, whatever they may be.
Tailoring copy to build strong brands and communities is my specialty. Other writer's may specialise in writing corporate internal documents, others specifically target their skills to direct response copy. Where the goal is to get customers to act on something immediately instead of slowly turning them into fans of the business.
Now I can write in all manner of ways as well, but my favourite is writing brand building copy. I can do the other styles I mentioned very well but this is my favourite. It's more fun.

You absolutely can, and a lot of businesses choose to do that. But that doesn't always mean it's in their best interest to.
Could you write your own content?
Maybe.
Could you spare the hours to study and learn persuasive writing techniques, Search engine optimization (SEO) methods and then apply those skills into an effective and accessible style of website formatting? Instead of focusing on running your business, managing staff and servicing customers?
No.
There is a lot more to copywriting than simply writing words on a page, flyer or newsletter.
It's a copywriters job, my job, to take that worry and lost time off of your hands and into my own.

A lot of copywriters choose to have a specialty in what they write. As mentioned before, I enjoy writing copy for businesses that want to build a loyal following of customers and create fanbases and communities.
Think Swifties but for your hotel on the outskirts of London.
This kind of copy is 'brand copy' some of the more common examples would be writing your website, creating a bi-weekly newsletter for your business that your customers can sign up to for 'latest news and offers' or writing the scripts for your social media videos so you never have to stumble over your words.
Other examples could be: Writing welcome brochures for you to have in your guest room, ghost-writing a weekly blog for your website, even coming up with the killer tag line for your latest ad in the local paper.
Honestly whatever your business needs, I can write. The best way to figure that out is by you clicking the button at the bottom of this page to let me know you'd like to work together!

Absolutely. For every client I've had, I didn't know how to write for their particular business, their niche or for their target market. Until I did.
How? Well my process involves a lot of research, way more than you'd think.
It starts from the moment you sign on as my client and undergo the onboarding process. I will ask you questions, the stronger and more detailed your answers, the better starting point I'll have.
Then it's down to me to gather everything I need, I'll study your competitors, reviews, customers, blogs about similar subjects, i'll reach out to other writers working in similar niches. Anything and everything there is to know to write copy specific to your brand, I find.
Combining your input and knowledge with my research and strategy is how I create copy that is entirely unique to your brand, it's goals and your customers.

I choose to charge by the project instead of other writers who may charge by the hour for example.
I do have guideline prices that I use to provide estimates for projects, however as each project is just as unique as your business, these prices are likely to change for your final quote.
When I work with clients on a more long-term basis. I typically charge monthly retainer rates instead of large bulk payments as this helps me and you to keep a close eye on your finances.
Typically this can look like one larger payment initially as it will not only include the monthly fee's for my services but also any set up costs included in our agreement.
For example if someone enquired as to setting up a emailing list and a monthly newsletter. The first month payment would be higher than the other payments due to the set up cost of the mailing list on the client website as well as that months newsletter content.
